Designer Mode
Design custom labels with text, barcodes, shapes, and images.
Designer mode is a WYSIWYG editor for building label layouts more complex than a single barcode — mixing text, barcodes, shapes, and images on one canvas.
The canvas
Choose a label size (or set fully custom dimensions), then add elements from the toolbar: text, barcodes, shapes, images, and symbols. Elements can be dragged, resized, and layered directly on the canvas, with a live preview at actual label proportions.
Elements and properties
Every element has position, size, rotation, opacity, and layer (z-order) controls, editable either by dragging on the canvas or entering exact values in the properties panel.
- Text elements support custom fonts, including Google Fonts and fonts you upload yourself, plus size, weight, alignment, and color controls.
- Barcode elements support ten symbologies — the full set covered in Barcode Types & Label Sizes — with an optional human-readable text line beneath the barcode.
Data bindings and CSV
Elements can be bound to CSV columns for batch generation: bind a barcode or text element to a column, upload a CSV, and export one label per row using that layout.
Auto-increment bindings generate sequential values without a CSV — configure a prefix,
zero-padding width, starting number, and suffix (e.g. SKU-0001 through SKU-0500), and
each label in the batch gets the next value automatically.
Templates
Save designs as templates to reuse them later. Templates are stored in your browser (via local storage) — they never leave your device, and clearing your browser data will remove them. Use Export/Import to move templates between devices or share them with teammates; cloud template storage with account sync is on the roadmap.
Exporting
Export labels as a PDF — a single page for one label, or a multi-page PDF when generating from CSV data or an auto-increment binding. You can also download an individual barcode element as a standalone PNG or SVG image, for example to drop into another document or design tool.
